Basel, Switzerland is home to one of the largest (maybe the largest) contemporary art fairs in the world. As I finished up this mixed-media piece, it drew me to the contradiction that lies in the old-world feel of the the city itself, with the devotion to contemporary art and design. This piece will be a conversation starter in any space.
